What do you love most about The Cutting Edge Salon? The Cutting Edge is a very happy place to work and an extremely happy place to have one's hair done. On most days, laughter is sprinkled through the salon by my fellow stylists and their guests. The ability to walk into work and feel a sense of community is a blessing is a privilege.

What do you think are your best skills that you bring to your job? I think my listening skills result in positive relationships with my guests as well as consistent results in my work. It's important to me to understand my guests vision for their hair in order to create a plan that works for both of us. Without listening skills, I would not be the stylist that I am today and I wouldn't have the lovely base of clientele that I enjoy seeing every month.

What is your favorite thing to do on a day off? An ideal day off for me would involve being somewhere remote and outdoors. I love going to hot springs, hiking, and camping.

What are you most grateful for? I have a really big, crazy family that I am close with. Being in my family has taught me to welcome people into my heart and laugh a lot. I am grateful for my family's resilience in tough times and our ability to create happy memories.

What is your go-to guilty pleasure? Unfortunately, I have a deep love for sugar. I like to bake which results in cookies, brownies, and various other treats lying around my kitchen all the time which I don't need to be eating.
